These terms govern your use of venturimwatches.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What this site is

This is a pre-launch information site for the VENTURIM dive watch. Nothing on it is an offer to sell a watch, and nothing you do on it forms a contract of sale. No order can be placed here and no payment is taken here. Joining the launch list or voting in the colour poll commits you to nothing and commits us to nothing beyond what this page and our privacy notice say.

The Kickstarter campaign

The watch is intended to launch on Kickstarter. If and when it does, that campaign will be governed by Kickstarter's own terms between you and us, not by these terms. Backing a crowdfunding campaign is not the same as buying a finished product: delivery dates are estimates, and specifications can change as a project moves through manufacturing.

Prices, specifications and imagery

Prices shown are indicative campaign pricing in US dollars and may change before launch. Technical specifications reflect our current design intent. Product imagery includes renders and prototype photography; the production watch may differ in detail. We correct errors when we find them and reserve the right to do so without notice.

Our content

The VENTURIM name, the wordmark, "Rapture of the Deep", the watch designs, the photography, the text and the layout of this site belong to us or to our licensors. You may view the site, and share links to it, and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not copy the site or its imagery for commercial use, present our designs as your own, or use our marks in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Third-party names mentioned on this site — including movement and component manufacturers — belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively.

Links out

We link to Instagram and will link to Kickstarter. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break the site, scrape it at volume, submit other people's email addresses to the launch list, or stuff the colour poll. We may block access where we see that happening.

Availability

We aim to keep the site up, but we do not guarantee it will be available uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

Liability

We provide this site as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it or reliance on information on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the UK or the EEA, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country's law and may bring proceedings there.
