Privacy Notice
Last updated 4 October 2026 · Version 1.0This notice explains what VENTURIM does with personal information collected through venturimwatches.com. It is written to meet the requirements of Articles 13 and 14 of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, and the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Who we are
VENTURIM is a watch brand operated by Anuna Trading LLC, Block B – 2038, Youseff Zahra Building, Al Quoz, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For anything in this notice, write to joseph@anunatrading.com.
What we collect, and why
| What | When | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your email address | When you join the Kickstarter launch list | To send you one email when the campaign goes live, and occasional updates before it does | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Your email address and the colourway you chose | When you vote on the colour poll | To count the vote and to tell you the result | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Server log data: IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp | Automatically, on every visit | To serve the site and to protect it from abuse | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — keeping the site available and secure |
We do not ask for your name, address, telephone number or payment details anywhere on this site. We do not buy email lists, and we do not add anyone to the launch list who has not typed their own address into the form.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel, no heat-mapping, no session recording and no social-media tracking script. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a third party, so no font provider receives your IP address.
Your browser stores one small preference locally — whether you chose the light or dark theme. That stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is not a cookie.
Who else sees your information
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States) hosts the site and processes form submissions on our behalf. Netlify is bound by its Data Processing Addendum, and transfers out of the UK and EEA rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
- Google Workspace handles our email, so an address you give us reaches our inbox there.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
Where your information is held
Form submissions are stored on Netlify's infrastructure in the United States. Our team accesses them from the United Arab Emirates. Both are outside the UK and EEA, and the safeguards above are what make those transfers lawful.
How long we keep it
- Launch list: until you unsubscribe, or until twelve months after the Kickstarter campaign closes — whichever comes first.
- Colour vote: deleted once the result is published.
- Server logs: retained by Netlify for a rolling period of no more than 30 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you are in the UK, the EEA or the UAE, you also have the right to receive your data in a portable format, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time — withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You can also simply write to joseph@anunatrading.com and we will action it. We will respond within 30 days and we will not charge you.
If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to a regulator: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, your national supervisory authority in the EEA, or the UAE Data Office.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant — adding analytics, for instance, or a new recipient of your data — we will say so in an email to anyone on the launch list before it takes effect.
